Autism Campaigner is calling on the Government to take immediate Action For Autism
0
Kevin Healey Stand UP for Autism Campaign National is calling on the new Government to take immediate Action for Autism, and to put Autism on top of the political agenda.
The recent Autism Act has put £500,000 into training for Autism, this however is equivalent to only £1 per Autistic person.
Since his diagnoses 10 years ago Kevin Healey from Stoke On Trent has campaigned for better services and support and believes that people with Autism have been ignored and isolated for far too long.
The new campaign launched last week is aimed at David Cameron and Nick Clegg and is appealing to them to put Autism at the top of the political agenda. Various Autism charities have campaigned in the past and at a recent Autism summit at 10 Downing Street in December last year there was over 40 Autism charities in attendance. However only two people were present with Autism at this meeting. Sarah Brown discussed how Autism charities can work in partnership to better peoples experience with Autism, but the true fact remains that all the Autism charity’s out there have their own personal agenda’s.
Kevin recently wrote to David Cameron and had a reply from a Customer Service Administrator at the Department of Health which stated, ”Thankyou for your letter that has been sent to the David Cameron which has now been forwarded to me, the department is unable to make any commitment regarding future policy on Autism at this early stage”
Kevin has also been denied his voice recently from a certain group for the Autism community on a social networking site, reiterating the point that Autism charities are working on their own agenda and not necessarily to an agenda beneficial to those with Autism.

Janis Sharp an inspirational Mother Fights on for her son
0

- Janis Sharp
The mother of accused computer hacker Gary McKinnon is to stand against Justice Secretary Jack Straw at the General Election.
Janis Sharp blames Mr Straw, who was Foreign Secretary when Britain’s current extradition treaty was agreed with the United States, for her son’s legal predicament.
Mr McKinnon, 44, from London, is challenging a US bid to extradite him on charges of hacking into highly sensitive military computers.
“(Mr Straw) is personally at least as much to blame for the ongoing legal travesty and betrayal of British sovereignty as any of his Labour Government colleagues,” Ms Sharp said on the Free Gary McKinnon campaign website.
She added: “He was Foreign Secretary at the time of the UK Government’s secret extradition treaty negotiations with the US Government, which resulted in the Extradition Act 2003, which Gary McKinnon and other extradition cases to the USA have fallen foul of.
“The fact that the Gary McKinnon extradition case has exceeded the lifetime of this current Parliament is a scandal which belies any promises of swift or fair justice made by this Labour government.”
Ms Sharp, from Hertfordshire, said she will stand in Mr Straw’s Blackburn constituency as an independent focusing on civil liberties.
Kevin Healey Said-
Gary and his family have gone through enough already this should be halted and stopped, Gary as already served an 8 year sentence of Anxiety, and NO person with Autism should go through this it’s torture, any animal wouldn’t get this sort of treatment the UK Government should be ashamed that they are subjecting this to someone with a Registered disability.

Gary McKinnon – An Election Issue
1In the run-up to the general election, the government is facing growing demands to halt the extradition of Gary McKinnon to the US, and to repeal the legally-dubious treaty under which his extradition is sought. With almost 3,000 supporters on Twitter, and a Facebook group with hundreds of thousands of members, the public opposition to the extradition of Asperger’s sufferer Gary McKinnon on what have been acknowledged in court to be groundless allegations is something Gordon Brown can no longer ignore.
The Home Office has been flooded with letters, phonecalls and emails from voters objecting to this extradition, and MPs around the country have also been pressed by their constituents to protest the extradition. Strong cross-party support for Mr McKinnon has been demonstrated in Parliament, and at the recent demonstration outside the Home Office, and the government’s own Home Affairs Select Committee have urged the Home Secretary to halt the extradition, yet the government has so far refused to act.
A Judicial Review into the Home Secretary’s decision not to halt the extradition is now set for 25th and 26th May, but Alan Johnson’s potentially unlawful decision not to prevent the extradition, and his attempts to publicly misrepresent the facts of Gary’s case represent a serious stain on the reputation of this Labour government.
You wouldn’t know from listening to Alan Johnson that the only admission by Gary McKinnon, and the only evidence, is for a Summary Offence, disposable by a Caution, and only prosecutable within 6 months of the offence. It’s been 8 years! And let’s not forget that Gary was threatened into making admissions, and that no Appropriate Adult was present (without which his admissions don’t count). You wouldn’t know either, if you listen to Alan Johnson, that the allegations of damage caused by Gary McKinnon (without which he is not extraditable) were laughed out of court under Lord Justice Stanley Burnton as ‘hearsay’ and ‘no evidence’. None of this seems to matter, however; according to the current extradition treaty, unsubstantiated or even, as in Gary’s case, disproved allegations seem to be considered sufficient to warrant extradition, leaving Human Rights legislation as the only means by which a person can fight extradition.
So far, the Home Secretary seems to believe that extraditing someone with Asperger’s from their home country, someone who is now suicidal after the trauma of being threatened with extradition for 8 long years, for crimes that appear on the evidence never to have taken place is not a violation of that person’s human rights. In modern parlance, I believe the word I’m looking for is “wtf?”
The extradition treaty with the US, which has been denounced by Liberty, by the American Civil Liberties Union, and by the finest legal minds in the country, was signed under Queen’s Prerogative, an archaic manoeuvre which bypasses Parliamentary process. The text of the treaty was not even seen by Parliament until three months after it had already been signed. As such, according to a recent ruling at the end of January, extradition under this treaty is illegal, by virtue of the fact that it was not subject to due democratic parliamentary process.
Under the treaty, any British citizen may be extradited to the US without a shred of evidence against them. Baroness Scotland, who helped to negotiate this traitorous treaty was keen to reassure US senators in documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act, that IRA terrorists (murderers, let’s not forget) who have found safe harbour in the USA will not be extradited to the UK for their crimes. She openly admits that this treaty represents a one-sided arrangement in favour of the USA, that when the UK seek extradition, the treaty requires
“a higher threshold than we ask of the United States, and I make no secret of that.”—
[ Official Report, House of Lords, 16 December 2003; Vol. 655, c. 1063.]
Contrast this with Alan Johnson’s oft-repeated claim that there is no effective imbalance in the treaty.
It is not only Gary McKinnon who is being terrorised by this treaty either. You may have heard recently of the case of retired businessman Ian Norris, who is ill with cancer, and is also being extradited to the USA. The original allegation against him was not an offence in Britain at the time it is alleged to have taken place, almost 20 years ago, and the House of Lords therefore blocked his extradition, though the Labour government did not, and are now permitting the US to seek his extradition for alleged obstruction of justice instead.
Similarly, Brian Howes and his wife (also seriously ill) are fighting extradition to the US for selling chemicals legal in the UK. They face up to 98 years imprisonment, despite no evidence having been presented against them. They have five children. These are just two cases of many where the USA is seeking the extradition of vulnerable British citizens for non-violent offences occurring in the UK, on unsubstantiated allegations, and or retrospectively for actions which did not constitute a crime at the time, and which took place long before the treaty was even created.
Considering that the US are supposed to be our closest allies, and that the Extradition Act was supposed to be used for terror suspects, it is difficult to understand why the US are persecuting vulnerable British citizens in this way, or why our government is permitting this obvious abuse of process, and the cost to the public purse that this entails.
The government’s failure to step in to protect Gary McKinnon from this blatant injustice may finally be rectified by the courts (whose past record in this matter is pretty shameful, it must be said), but unless the government take action now to stop this and other unjust extraditions, the only conclusion the electorate can draw is that a vote for the Labour Party is a vote for the vicious abuse of the vulnerable to appease a foreign power, a vote against the democratic process, and against the rights of all British people. Who in their right mind is going to vote for that? Not me.
Mother of autistic man wanted in the US on computer hacking charges has been sent emails threatening to kill her son
0Janis Sharp, from Brookmans Park, disclosed that journalists and MPs have also been targeted over their involvement in her high profile campaign to prevent her son Gary McKinnon from being extradited.
In a series of emais, an American known only as Jerry describes Asperger’s sufferer Gary as a “ target”.
He also threatens that “future unpleasantness and the death of annoying MPs and journalists… will have been no accident.”
Janis admitted that receiving the threatening emails had saddened her.
But she vowed: “I refuse to be intimidated and will continue to fight for my son to be tried in the UK.
“If any British person was issuing death threats against American politicians, journalists and members of the public they would probably be charged with terrorism and extradited to America to face a lengthy prison sentence.”
The threats are currently being investigated by the Metropolitan police forces.
Meanwhile, the parliamentary authorities have also been informed after a message was sent to Hertsmere MP James Clappison.
Security at the House of Commons may now be stepped up as a result.
Another prominent MP has also been targeted, along with journalists from three national newspapers.
Det insp Chris Wright, investigating, said: “Hertfordshire Constabulary takes all allegations of crime seriously and this case is no different.
“The origins of these threats are being investigated and we are currently following a number of lines of enquiry into the matter.”
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman added that detectives were “liaising with US law enforcement agencies” after a number of “malicious emails” were sent to various media agencies.
Prosecutors in America allege Gary, 43, caused nearly £500,000 worth of damage to military computers in 2001 and 2002.
If convicted in a US court, he could face up to 60 years in jail.
Gary, of North London, admits hacking but maintains he was looking for evidence of alien life.
Gary Mckinnon WINS Judicial review
0
Kevin Healey & Janis Sharp (Gary Mckinnons mother ) outside Buckingham palace Janis just presented Her Majesty the Queen with flowers and a letter also cards to ask for compassion for her son
I Recently spent a day with his mother Janis sharp outside the Home office to
demo the extradition of Gary to the US, Gary has Asperger a form of Autism Gary
was only looking for evidence of Ufo’s when he hacked into there systems he did
a blank password search, and there systems were open no firewalls or security in
place and he left a note on there systems, and the US say that he caused
$500,000 worth of damage, but this has never been proven, Gary’s solicitor Karen
Todner has been working so hard for gary and his family, now the Good news
today, they have won the judicial review, a high court judge will now rule out
whether Johnson was wrong to allow extradition, but Gary is in a poor mental
health state at the moment because of the 7 long years of stress he has had to
put up with, the judicial review will now take place in may this still gives
Gary extra time and support from all his supporters, however i would still urge
people to TEXT GARY to 65000 this text appeal has been set up by his mother
Janis,
but it will now be left to the judge to rule whether Alan Johnson the home
secretary was right to decide that sending him to the US for trial would breach
is human rights

Gary Mckinnon’s Fate lies in the hands of our Goverment
0
As the new year dawns our government have still not decided the fate of Garry Mckinnon, Gary a guy with Asperger syndrome was just looking for UFO evidence, and has been facing 7 years of sheer anxiety, and mental health problems, to face 60 years in an American prison let alone to see is family again, i have read a few articles about some adults with A/S in the American prison’s some have been cruelly tortured, name calling razors put in there shoes, and other horrendous things, what appals me that not many Autism charitys have supported Gary and his family.
Janis an inspirational mother who is fully protecting her son from the American’s when i recently attended the Demo outside the Home office i was pleased to see Nick Clegg supporting Gary and talking on British TV that this should be stopped, alongside the few hand full of MP.s who were there to support Gary.
what saddens me is the response we have not got back from Her majesty the Queen or the US president (no response and no letters) Janis sent a direct letter to the Queen and over 50 bunches of flowers to ask for compassion did Her Majesty acknowledge Janis Sharp?
what will happen when Gary is extradited to the US will he soon be forgotten about, or will he take his own life before, we as people power should stop any of this happening before its all to late for Gary and his family.
Alan Johnson needs to stop this clock now, its gone on far to long and the UK government including the Prime Minster Gordon Brown must put an halt to this.
Disappointing that how much we read in the news how various people get away with murder, rape, mass killing etc and they are sending this vulnerable man with a Registered Disability to the US,
