would never of thought this would have been possible but I’m so pleased that we have been able two produce to incredible charity singles and I’m sure they will both do amazingly well

To download these tracks or preview them goto iTunes and search there name and the name of the song. 79p each!!
We are just waiting now for the CDs to be manufactured. And they both have a proffesional music video’s which will also go on sale soon and downloadable from iTunes. All process to SAAS and Autism Radio UK

An Amazing night all thank-you so much,
a dedication speech from kevin Healey read by terry walsh -
Kevin has chosen the red and silver stars on all the tables tonight each one of them represent the late susan chandler, who passed away early this year. as she was a star herself to so many people in north staffordshire and stoke on trent, sue will always remain in all of our thoughts and memories and we will always cherish, she would be so proud of what the charity as as achieved this year
“Sue was a very courageous person who let nothing phase her.
“She battled the illness all the way to the end and was always thinking about others, even when she bacame ill
“The charity ball would have been right up Sue’s street. She would have loved the glamour of it all, she always loved these type of events”.
May her memory live on, a special friend to many Kevin Healey

Martin Finn & James Meakin – Charity singles out soon!!

what an amazing Day its been it all sarted very early this morning with an interview on BBC radio Stoke then off to the studios, we finished around 430pm today, the songs that will be released are (James meakin), elton John cover of your song, and (Martin Finn), cover of Rownan Keatin (when you say nothing at all)
both track’s will be available on iTunes within the next week, and CD’s will be on sale in the next 5 weeks, and I’m sure both will be massive hits, martins mother and father accompanied martin, what amazing parents they are too, martin and james really both enjoyed the day, a big thank you to tom at the studio, and to the film crew, (can’t wait to see all the 240 photos, let alone the two amazing Music videos, most importantly such a BIG THANKYOU to the talented wonderful Martin Finn & James meakin for supporting and giving there time and energy to support such a wonderful Autism Charity Staffs adults Autistic Society & Autism Radio UK (Martin Finn Ambassador for the only Autism Radio station in the UK)

Autism Charity singles to be released in time for Christmas

Martin FInn and James Meakin who have autism and Asperger’s Syndrome will be recording a charity single to support Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society (SAAS).
Martin Finn, aged 20 from Manchester, and an ambassador of Autism Radio UK will be joined in the studio by 24-year-old James Meakin.
they will record three songs and then pick one to be included on the single.
Martin has previously showcased his singing talents on BBC Three’s Autistic superstars.
He will be singing James Blunt’s You’re Beautiful, Ronan Keating’s When You Say Nothing At All and Human by The Killers.
James , who lives in Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, will be singing Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley, Elton John’s Your Song and You’ve Got A Friend by James Taylor.
both will be recording their tracks, in Newcastle-under-Lyme on Saturday, November 12.
The project has been paid for by Staffordshire County Councillor John Cooper who made a £2,000 donation from the Staffordshire Local Community Fund.
Kevin Healey, chairman of SAAS and Autism Radio UK, said: “This is amazing to see such talented singers to get an opportunity to release a single for the charity, and I’m positive that both songs will be a huge hit.
“Martin Finn has thousands of fans across the country, and I’m sure James will too once people hear the songs.
“It’s about time that people with autism, with such amazing talents, are recognised in this country.”
Once the tracks are recorded and chosen, the single will go into production and it will be available as a digital download on iTunes and other sites.

Autism radio UK and SAAS, are pleased to announce before Christmas we will have Martin Finn and James Meakin in the recording studio to release a single each for Autism radio uk and the charity SAAS
Founder of both organisations said,
it’s just amazing we have another few thousand pound coming our way, A very good contact of mine as offered the money, and it’s just amazing it will also give them both a platform in the music industry can’t wait for the songs to be released it will raise more awareness locally and nationally, they will both have a professional photo shoot for the single cover too
