McCarthy added that Evan, 7, has changed since she started trying to treat him.

“Evan couldn’t talk – now he talks,” she said. “Evan couldn’t make eye contact – now he makes eye contact. Evan was antisocial – now he makes friends. It was amazing to watch, over the course of doing this, how certain therapies work for certain kids and they completely don’t work for others.

“When something didn’t work for Evan, I didn’t stop. I stopped that treatment, but I didn’t stop.”

McCarthy added: “I look at autism like a bus accident, and you don’t become cured from a bus accident, but you can recover.”

Autism can not be cured FACT no amount of biomedical intervention, supplements, therapies etc can cure Autism- I KNOW i have lived with the condition for 35 years including my twin, and he still is none verbal and cant communicate so people wake up to the real world There is NO CURE FOR AUTISM
